My Day Job Podcast

To fuel my creativity and curiosity, I’ve launched a podcast called My Day Job. In each episode, I sit down with Asians from all walks of life to explore not only what they do for work but also who they are beyond the 9-to-5. The idea came from a simple yet profound curiosity about my own friends' careers.

The Asian diaspora is incredibly diverse—far beyond the traditional narratives of medicine, law, engineering, or accounting. And even for those in these fields, our individual stories, perspectives, and passions make us so much more than just a job title.

In a world where “What do you do?” is often the first question we ask when meeting someone new, My Day Job shifts the narrative. It’s not just about job titles—it’s about the person behind them. It’s about exploring the values we carry in and outside of work, celebrating our unique paths, and uncovering the shared experiences that remind us how interconnected we really are.

This podcast is my way of staying creative, staying curious, and amplifying the voices of a community that’s as rich and diverse as the stories we tell. Together, we’re breaking down stereotypes and rediscovering what truly connects us all.
